Yoshiro Hori

In April 2019, Mr. Hori was named Chief Executive Officer of Standard Steel, LLC. Mr. Hori started his career with the parent company, Nippon Steel, in April 1988. Since then, he has held various positions within the company both in Japan and in the United States. His experience within the company includes many business units supporting multiple product lines. Most recently, Mr. Hori was the General Manager and Head of Production and Business Planning Division at Osaka Steel Works, Japan, which also manufactures railway wheels and axles. Mr. Hori earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Tokyo, Japan.

Thomas J. Impellitteri

Mr. Impellitteri started his career with Standard Steel in January of 2014 following a 21 year career as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Impellitteri was named Chief Operating Officer in July 2021, after serving as Senior Vice President – Operations since February 2021. He previously served as Senior VP - Operations Planning & General Manager, Melting & Axle Manufacturing, and held multiple positions in increasing responsibility for the Company’s Operations Planning. Mr. Impellitteri earned a B.A. in Communications from The Pennsylvania State University and earned his MBA from The Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business with a dual concentration in Strategic Leadership and Supply Chain Operations.

Keiji "Kevin" Nakazono

In April 2021, Mr. Nakazono was named Executive Vice President of Standard Steel, LLC. Mr. Nakazono started his career with the parent company, Sumitomo Corporation, in April 1991. Since then, he has experienced various positions within the company in Japan, Thailand and the U.S. Most recently he was working for the Chicago Branch office of Sumitomo Corporation of Americas. Mr. Nakazono graduated from the Faculty of Commerce in Hitotsubashi University, Japan.

Takashi "Ted" Fujimura

In June 2021, Mr. Fujimura was named Senior Vice President, Technical & Operations, of Standard Steel, LLC. Mr. Fujimura started his career with the parent company, Nippon Steel, in April 1991. Since then, he has held various positions within the company both in Japan and in the United States. His experience within the company includes many positions in Railway, Automotive and Machinery Parts business unit. Most recently, Mr. Fujimura was the General Manager of Railway, Automotive and Machinery Parts Technology Division at Tokyo Headquarters, Japan. Mr. Fujimura had also been at Standard Steel from 2011 to 2014. Mr. Fujimura earned a Doctoral degree in Energy Science and Technology from Kyoto University, Japan.

Joseph T. Hughes

Mr. Hughes joined Standard Steel in June 2014 as a Mechanical Engineer for the Closed Die Forge Shop. He was promoted to General Manager – Plant Engineering and Maintenance in March 2017, promoted to Vice President in February 2020, and promoted to Sernior Vice President in March 2022. Prior to joining the Standard Steel team, Mr. Hughes held various engineering and maintenance management positions at ATI – Allegheny Ludlum in the melting and casting department in Brackenridge, PA. Prior to ATI, Mr. Hughes held various engineering and maintenance management positions at Dietrich Metal Framing in Warren, Oh and Joliet, IL. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.

Judy Pellicano

Ms. Pellicano joined Standard Steel in August of 2022 as Senior Vice President, General Administration. She brings a diverse background and gained experience through a series of increasingly responsible positions spanning the transportation, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, and construction industries, and has held VP roles since 2012. She was most recently employed as an Executive Consultant in the supply chain arena. Ms. Pellicano is a Penn State graduate and holds degrees in both Physics and Industrial Engineering. Her formal education coupled with her experience lends to her strong operations, problem solving, and continuous improvement skillset.

David Heisler

Mr. Heisler joined Standard Steel in February 2017. He was appointed to his current position in January 2022, after previously serving the Company as Controller. Prior to joining the Standard Steel team, Mr. Heisler was an auditor within the Department of Defense for the U.S. Army Audit Agency for 10 years. The scope of his audit experience included performance and compliance audits specifically for procurement and acquisition as well as financial statement audits. He was the recipient of The Auditor General Award in 2009 and 2013 for outstanding leadership and performance. Mr. Heisler is a 2007 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business with a major in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Martin R. Ehrenzeller

Mr. Ehrenzeller joined Standard Steel in May 2013. He was promoted to his current position as Vice President – Process Engineering, Operation Improvement & Planning in April 2022, after previously serving the company as Director of Process Engineering. During his tenure at Standard Steel, he has served in various roles in Engineering, Quality and Business Analytics. Prior to joining the Standard Steel team, Mr. Ehrenzeller was employed in the Engineering field for various manufacturing companies including JLG Industries, Case New Holland, and Ames True Temper. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University

Tyler Fida

Mr. Fida joined Standard Steel in August of 2021. He began his career in healthcare, working for Johnson & Johnson beginning in August of 2008. Through his various roles he was responsible for customer logistics, vendor managed inventory (VMI), production planning and forecasting. In March of 2013, Mr. Fida accepted a production planning position to be part of a new leadership team to drive the turnaround of Armstrong Cabinets in Thompsontown, PA. Alongside that team, his work contributed to the formation of Cabinetworks Group, the largest privately held kitchen and bath cabinet manufacturer in North America. Mr. Fida is a 2008 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business, where he graduated valedictorian with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.
